Vinnytsia institute of University "Ukraine"
The University “Ukraine” provides educational service for over 15 thousand of students around Ukraine, while in Vinnytsia institute the number of students is over 1000.
University «Ukraine»is one of the first higher educational institutions to implement inclusive learning of students with disabilities in Ukraine. Today more than 10% of our students are individuals with disabilities.
The main goals of our activity are:
- the provision of higher education to the broader categories of population;
- development of the concept of inclusive education;
- training of students with disabilities in integrated and special groups (students with various forms of disabilities comprise 10% of the total number of students of the Institute, most of them are in full-time program);
-the provision of higher education to individuals with impaired hearing (there are 4 specialized groups with professional support).
The University teaching staff consists of the teachers coming from the leading national state higher educational institutions. The whole network staff is more than 2 000 people including 500 in Kiev. Kiev staff is for both purposes – serving Kiev branch and managing the whole system including the network of branches.
The Institute has been researching the problem of inclusion for more than 15 years . The rector of the Vinnytsia Institute Hanna Davydenko is the head of research 0114U001028 «Methodology of inclusive education for persons with disabilities in terms of a higher education institution" within which she is a post-graduate doctor of pedagogical sciences, and her doctoral thesis was "Theoretical and methodological foundations of inclusive education in higher educational institutions of the European Union". She is the author of several scientific articles on inclusion and the head organizer of such events as roundtables, forums , activities of volunteer organizations in the field of disability.
The entire activity of our university is directed at the formation of inclusive social values and at the maintenance of wide access to education of vulnerable categories of population.

Key Action 2 (KA2) — Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of best practices
Goal: to provide quality improvement and availability of educational services for the individuals with special educational needs and the formation of social inclusive values through the system of Resource Centers at the leading universities of Ukraine
Target audience: Individuals with special educational needs (SEN), including displaced persons, individuals with disabilities, foreign students, students of other religious confessions and cultural values; faculty; academic and non-academic staff.
The duration of the project:1 October 2017 - 1 October 2020.
WP. 1. Exchange of experience and development of an optimal model for Accessibility Center.
Result: The increasing of the knowledge level about psychological, educational and social technologies in the area of work with people with SEO through the exchange of experience at national and international levels; the developed model of Accessibility Center: organizational and structural, methodical and technological components.
1.1. Analysis of the state of the implementation of inclusive education in the universities of Ukraine and partner countries, the identifying key issues and needs; M1;
1.2. The Studying of the experience of the functioning of system of work with students with special needs in the European educational establishments. Comparative analysis of the best practices in the EU; M1-M2;
1.3. The work of team of experts from the universities participating in the project on development of model of Accessibility Center; M3;
WP.2. Development of information tools for Accessibility Center: 1) to provide students with SEN; 2) for staff training to work with students with SEN.
Result: developed educational and methodical means for Accessibility Center (designed programs and means for the primary, current and special diagnostics, programs and means of psycho-pedagogical correction and adaptation of students with SEN, programs and content of trainings for the managers, scientific and technical staff for service in an inclusive educational environment.

Result: the function of accessibility centers in universities of Ukraine, Poland, Lithuaniaby Sweden model; the testing of developed programs and methods, correction and optimization of educational, corrective and adaptive content and means.
