University of San Jose-Recoletos
Considered as one of the top universities in the Philippines, the post-war higher institution of education - University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) is a private Catholic university run by the priests who belong to the Order of Augustinian Recollects since 1947.
It has its main campus at the heart of historic Cebu City in Central Philippines that has two other campuses located at the outskirts of the city, particularly, Basak-Pardo Campus and Arpili, Balamban, Cebu Campus. It has a student population of over 10,000 coming from other parts of the world and most of them are from the cities and islands in the archipelago.
It has basic education [ pre-school, elementary, junior high, and senior high]. law, graduate and undergraduate programs, and has international and local linkages from both government and private sectors.
It has a number of programs that have earned centers of excellence and centers of development which are seals of excellence coming from the Philippine Commission on Higher Education.
Its Recoletos Multidisciplinary Research Journal is reviewed in a double blind manner by referees and contributors from local and internaltional origins. It is the only journal in Cebu that is considered as part of the 27 high quality journals of the country.
Most of its faculty have a good mix of impressive academic record and distinguished industry experiences who also are into active research work and training activities either as trainers or trainees.
About 30 perecent of its faculty also have international linkages and have presented their papers abroad

International Cooperation on Research and Faculty/Student Exchange Program that will enable both parties to engage in collaborative research endeavors in Philippine and Ukrainian environments as well as providing a fellowship or cooperation and exchange program for faculty and students for exposure to classroom sessions for training and learning as well as skills development or enhancement from a minimum term of one month to a maximum of 2.5 years.
