More than the fifty-year history of glorious traditions and hard work within Ternopil National Economic University is displayed through the portraits of its best students, graduates, associates and renowned professors.

Ternopil National Economic University was established in 1966.

The high status of research conducted within Ternopil National Economic University is fostered by academic achievements within its 7 scientific schools, which provide the professional capacity to train researchers from all regions of Ukraine, including other universities and government bodies. Main directions of research within Ternopil National Economic University are oriented around issues involving Economics, Law, Economic Security, Computer Informational Technologies, and International Economic Relations.

Membership in international organizations, associations and networks: European university association, European Association for International Education, Magna Charta Universitatum, Border University Network, Baltic University Program, The Eastern-European University Network, International Cultural and Educational Agency

TNEU includes: 6 Faculties, 6 Education and Research Institutes, 2 Scientific and Research Institutes, 4 Branches, 4 Colleges, School of Polish and European Law, Ternopil Business School

Information about the intended project:

The University is constantly working on improving educational services and the level of scientific elaboration. Therefore, the University management aims to ensure the exchange of experience, knowledge and ideas between its employees and the employees of foreign universities.

International cooperation gives an opportunity to introduce new approaches, tools, and training courses. Therefore, the University is actively looking for new partners for cooperation in projects of Erasmus+. Due to the University experience in international projects and intercultural cooperation, such cooperation will not only benefit for us, but also for our partners.

We are looking for partners that wish to implement:

- Joint Master's programs in the fields of International Management, Project Management, International Economics, International Information, International Economic Relations and International Accounting;

- Credit mobility of students (English-speaking courses) and employees of the University;

- Capacity Building in Higher Education for the development of distance learning courses and programs in Ukraine.

Previous international experience:

Overall TNEU has signed sixty-five agreements with universities from 22 foreign countries, of which 45 are the universities of the fourteen European Union states, as well as Canada, USA, China, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Moldova. Most (20) agreements were signed with universities in Poland.

Each year, the University develops and implements numerous international projects with programs such as Erasmus +, DAAD, Apollo, Horizon 2020, the International Visegrad Fund, L. Kirkland Program and others. In 2014, TNEU participated in 12 international and educational programs and funds.
