Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University has been the leading educational, scientific and cultural centre of the Precarpathian region for 76 years. It is a European-style university, which is developing dynamically. It is a modern educational scientific centre with the developed infrastructure, distinguished scientific schools, stable international relations and high potential on its way to better European standards of higher education.The university offers a wide range of specialties – from Physics to International Relations. The University enrolls about 16,000 students. Among the 82 departments there are more than 100 doctors of science, professors; almost 700 candidates of sciences, associate professors. The University has 3 educational institutes, 11 faculties, and a college. Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University is internationally recognized and integrated with European universities. It is actively introducing double-degree programs with the world’s leading universities. All this mentioned sets not only favorable conditions for our students’ studies, but also for their entertainment, meetings, and exchange of views.

In May 2016, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University became one of the 42 partner institutions from 22 countries in the MOBILE+2 Project – Mobility for International Learning Experiences (2016-2018), coordinated by the University of Porto, Portugal. The aims of the project are better understanding between Portugal and specifically 22 program and partner countries, through the encouragement of student and academic and administrative staff mobility and the transfer of know-how and best practices.

In the framework of bilateral agreements, the University realizes mobility programs with University of Lodz, Republic of Poland (Mobility Direct) and Vytautas Magnus University, Republic of Lithuania.In February 2017 we have signed the Mevlana Exchange Programme Protocol with Karabuk University.

In the framework of realization of international collaboration’s strategy in the field of education the University has signed 11 dual master programs with partner institutions in Poland, among them:
