Sumy National Agrarian University (SNAU, is one of the biggest Ukrainian agrarian universities, which has the IV accreditation level. More than 11 thousand students study at its 8 faculties and 6 regional colleges. Since 2011 SNAU has been working with foreign students. SNAU trains specialists in different areas and confers the following degrees: junior specialist (13 specialties); bachelor (17 specialties); master (18 Specialties). A number of study programs are taught in English. There are also post-graduate programs. SNAU has launched an “Agrointernatura” program for the applied specialties engineering and agronomy to provide professional consultations for the university graduates who already work in these fields. SNAU possesses rich resource base (research laboratories, glass-houses, experimental fields, gardens, vineyards, seed centre, Vivarium, and a breeding centre) which provides an opportunity to undergo industrial training, get practical skills and conduct the research activity. Rich infrastructure combined with highly qualified staff provides a reliable partner for international projects both in the educational and scientific fields.

SNAU cooperation with foreign partners is implemented in different ways: students and teaching staff academic mobility (long-term cooperation with Polish HEI partners, Erasmus+ joint projects with German partners, individual grants of the staff (DAAD, USDA FEP, UNESCO scientific research scholarships etc.), participation in the international scientific events, implementation of the common educational programs and participation in international scientific and educational projects and organizations. Sumy National Agrarian University has been developing strong cooperative connections with business enterprises as well, both directly (e.g. joint educational projects) and through the projects funded by FAO/EBRD (spheres of diary production and grain production on the small area).
