Dear Partner, in the run-up to the Erasmus+ 2015 Call for Proposals Belarusian State University is looking forward to cooperate in the framework of the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 Capacity Building in Higher Education. Continuing the best practices and proven experience of Tempus projects implementation BSU is committed to further cooperation and joint efforts towards modernization, accessibility and internationalization of higher education.

Being a top university in Belarusian higher education system BSU is acting as a national center of international cooperation in education and science with a special focus on innovations, quality enhancement and internationalization of university activity. 25-30 international projects within such programmes as Tempus, Erasmus Mundus, Jean Monnet, EU Cross-Border Cooperation, DAAD, FPB-Belarus, CIMO and many others are implemented at the University annually. Academic exchanges, joint researches and joint educational programs are implemented in the framework of more than 250 international agreements with institutions from Europe, Asia and America.
BSU at a glance:
- 8 400 total personnel employed (including 7 580 full-time specialists)
-  over 2 400 academic staff members (including 15 Academicians of the NAS of the Republic of Belarus, 16 Corresponding Members, 393 Doctors of Science, 1669 Candidates of Science)
- 34 200 students enrolled at all levels of education (including over 2000 international students from more than 40 countries worldwide). 29 140 graduates, 890 master students; 682 postgraduate and doctoral students among them

Internationalization Strategy
Belarusian State University belongs to a highly internationalized university community and puts a great attention to cooperation with foreign partners both at inter-university level and within international projects framework. 2011-2015 BSU Internationalization Strategy has been designed to achieve these goals. Strongly committed team of BSU Department for International Relations proven to provide efficient management of university international activities is ready to contribute to quality of partnerships by promoting our know-how, best practices and longstanding experience in management of international activities. Each BSU faculty and institute has also a team of project leaders – a highly internationalized segment of academic community – who involved in international cooperation and project management. BSU project teams are actively involved in implementing wide range of project activities of all kinds – from development of training programs, E-learning modules and joint programmes to organization of joint sessions, seminars, coordination meetings and conferences thus being able to bring expertise and share best practices within partnerships which makes BSU a reliable and valuable partner.

Fundraising & Project Management
Being aimed at broadening international contacts and increasing participation in international projects, BSU actively promotes project proposals focused at modernization and building capacity of university management, enhancing quality of education, organization of mobility and development joint programmes. Currently BSU is successfully involved into 9 Tempus and 6 Erasmus Mundus projects addressing academic mobility (EMA 2), curricular development (ACES, NETCENG, TRADIR, Сomolte, ENERGY), human security (HUMAN), promotion of innovations (SUCSID), university management (PICASA) and internationalization (INURE). Under 2013-2014 Calls for Proposals BSU grant writers' teams developed and submitted 14 project applications.
