European Integration Impact on Economic Security of EU Member-States

Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (KNEU) is the leading economic university in Ukraine and has the great ambitions to become the advanced post for fostering and implementing European standards in Ukraine. Our University has the direct impact on transforming Ukrainian fiscal environment within the framework of European integration due to its role as the educational center for current and future civil servants engaged in taxation. No wonder that the project is highly supported by faculty members and administration of our University. The brand-new and innovative training “European Integration Impact on Economic Security of EU Member-States” is designed for bachelor, master, PhD students and fiscal agents, as well as young and experienced researchers specialized in EU studies.The chair holder will shed light on the interplay between European integration and the following constituents of the EU economic security: industrial security, demographic security, energetic security, foreign trade security, investment and innovation security, macroeconomic security, food safety, social security, and financial security. Young researchers-trainers engaged in this project will share with participants of this Jean Monnet Chair their findings on corporate social responsibility and analytical aspects of ensuring economic security in the EU.Capacity building as the result of this project embraces overcoming stereotypes concerning the EU, including fighting with over-expectations by analyzing indicators of economic security and conducting comparisons among member-states; shaping and constantly amending the course curriculum and e-textbook content; disseminating results and innovative didactic decisions of the project through social network, official and ad hoc websites. The newly created network will enables participants to keep in touch with their lecturer and each other for implementing European values in day-to-day business and social practice.
