European Experience of Implementation of the food safety management system HACCP (Hazard analysis and critical control points)
Short description:
The training module “”European Experience of Implementation of the food safety management system HACCP (Hazard analysis and critical control points)”” consists of four sections. This program is fully consistent with the contents of Chapter IV (Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures) of Section IV “”Trade and Trade-Related Issues”” of the Ukraine–European Union Association Agreement. The proposed program is a logical implementation of the provisions of the “”School of HACCP of Poltava University of Economics and Trade””, which is intended to facilitate the implementation of the best practices of the European Union on the implementation of the HACCP system by food market operators.The project objective is to disseminate European experience in food safety management on the principles of HACCP.The results of the project include the dissemination of knowledge about the food safety management system on the principles of HACCP. Also, one of the goals of the project is to study food manufacturers of European experience and European requirements in food law.The project aims to implement food safety legislation in the framework of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU and the transition to European standards for the production of safe food products, as well as the expansion of opportunities for the export of food products to the EU.Indicators of the effectiveness of the training project are the number of food market operators involved in training for this module; raising the level of awareness of food business operators regarding the European experience in implementing and operating the HACCP system.
