Erasmus+ InfoDay for HEIs international relations offices, institutional Erasmus+ coordinators and ICM project teams (21.12.2023, online)
Within European Year of Skills 2023 on 21 December 2023, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, the Office Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education of Ukraine, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, the Info Centre for Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps in Ukraine, and other partners, held Erasmus+ InfoDay for HEIs international relations offices, institutional Erasmus+ coordinators and ICM project teams.
About 85 participants from different Ukrainian higher education institutions joined the event: Erasmus+ institutional coordinators and staff responsible for international cooperation of HEIs.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, presented important steps for international academic mobility and cooperation projects implementation. This session also included additional opportunities during martial law and conditions regarding border crossing. Speaker stressed key steps for enhancing the institutional capacity of higher education institutions to implement mobility projects and other initiatives, inter-project synergy, and new cooperation for active participation in the 2024 calls.
In the second part of the presentations, participants received recommendations for fruitful collaboration with the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine and promoting the participation of universities in Erasmus+ projects. Kateryna ZHDANOVA, Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, presented the peculiarities of coordinating the Programme at the international and local levels, institutional stages of quality project implementation according to requirements of the Programme, and the importance of cooperation with the National Erasmus+ Office team in Ukraine to enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of HEIs.
