Participation in the Annual NEO-ICP Meeting (23-25.01.2024, Brussels)

During 23-25 January 2024, team of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine participated in the Annual NEO-ICP Meeting in Brussels. More than 250 representatives of National Erasmus+ offices, National Erasmus+ Agencies and contact points from all over the world took part in the event. The program of events consisted of general sessions and workshops on ket actions of the Program in the field of education, youth and sports, as well as working meetings with the project officers of the European Agency EACEA.

Sophie BEERNAERTS, Director (acting), Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), and Adrian VEALE, Policy Officer, International Cooperation Unit, DG EAC, European Commission welcomed participants during opening remarks.

First session with the participation of  Adrian VEALE, Policy Officer, International Cooperation Unit, DG EAC, European Commission, was dedicated to Erasmus+ updates, selection results and trends and novelties of Erasmus+ 2024 Call for proposals.

Second session was in workshop format on mobility and cooperation actions of the Programme. The working groups aimed to discuss problems and challenges, as well as exchange experience in solving current issues.

During the following working days, the NEO – Ukraine attended sessions on Erasmus+ calls for 2024, its features and the role of offices teams and d agencies in supporting newcomers and experienced representatives of organizations. In particular, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator, provided presentation on the state of the Ukrainian higher education system during the martial law, its priority and perspective needs for fruitful cooperation between Ukrainian and foreign HEIs within the framework of Erasmus+.
