Ukrainian Universities invite partners and friends to cooperate actively during EAIE Conference (17-20.09.2024)

Dear partners and friends!
National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine together with Ukrainian State center for International Education, Libniz University of Hannover and a cohort of Ukrainian Universities are honoured to invite you to visit Ukrainian stand at EAIE Conference in Toulouse on 17-20 of
September 2024!
We are happy to announce that over 25 Ukrainian Universities are exhibiting at #EAIE24 at C11 stand "Higher Education in Ukraine" together with Study in Ukraine Elena Sulyma Olena Shapovalova and National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine & HERE team Svitlana Shytikova!
You will have the opportunity to learn from the first hand the situation in Ukrainian Education, to meet and find reliable partners for long-term cooperation and meet old fiends!
Your care and support are important to us! We are interested in bilateral cooperation and under EU-funded Programmes.
About 40 calls for proposals are open for Ukraine under Erasmus+ as Partner Country and all calls under Horizon Europe as an Associated Country!
Please do not hesitate to schedule meetings and visit Ukrainian stand during the days.
There will be several sessions where Ukrainian speakers will share their experience and expertise on the internationalisations, please find one of your interest in the Programme here!
Additionally, we invite you to join the mini-session organised by the European Commission at their stand and learn about the specific support provided to Ukraine’s higher education during martial law. In particular, DigiUni project, working on the digital eco-system
development, experience of Ukrainian universities in different projects, open calls for proposals with the focus on Ukraine.

Details on mini-session:
Mini-session on Ukraine in EIAE: EU support to higher education in Ukraine
Location: EU Stand
Date and time: 19 September 2024, 15h00-15h45
Aim: showcase the EU support to Ukraine in the area of higher education, including the support for DigiUni project. The session would bring together the views of the European Commission, as  well as those of Ukrainian and EU universities
Moderator: Svitlana Shytikova, National Erasmus+ Office Coordinator in Ukraine
Speakers:
1.       Filip VAN DEPOELE, Head of International Cooperation Unit, DG EAC, European Commission will provide an overview of EU support to Ukraine in the area of higher education,  including the support for DigiUni project setting up an online higher education platform in UA and the MSCA4Ukraine initiative.
2.       Kseniia Smyrnova, Vice Recor of Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv will present the experience of implementing the DigiUni project.
3.       Nataliya Butych, Regional Coordinator Eastern Europe, Strategic Partnership, Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) will present own experience of supporting Ukrainian universities, students and staff, including as part of the DigiUni project
4.       Q&A and opportunity for Ukrainian universities to share their experiences.
