Participation in the consortium meeting of the Erasmus+ CBHE DigiUni project (19.02.2024, Paris, France)

On February 19, 2024, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine joined the initial meeting of the university consortium within the Erasmus+ DigiUni Digital University – Open Ukrainian Initiative (DigiUni) project.

The project involved 25 participants from both Ukraine and Germany, France, Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, and Belgium.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, participated in the meeting and delivered a speech about the significance of the project for the development of digital education in Ukraine. She highlighted the importance of international cooperation and expressed gratitude to the European partners for their support.

The project is coordinated by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The main goal of the project is to create a highly effective digital educational ecosystem for remote and inclusive learning. DigiUni’s tasks cover all educational levels and promote adult education and lifelong learning through acquiring formal, non-formal, and informal digital education. The direct beneficiaries of the project are Ukrainian students and staff, many of whom are displaced within and outside Ukraine.

During the meeting, the immediate tasks related to the implementation of the DigiUni project were defined, including management issues, the composition of working groups, and schedules for upcoming training sessions.

Among the project participants were Iryna ZOLOTAROVA, Professor of the Department of Information Systems at Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, and Oleksii BESEDOVSKYI, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems at the same university.
