Introductory speech at the presentation of the Jean Monnet module ‘EU System of the Audit and Financial Control: Experience for Ukraine’ (EUAudit4UA) (20.03.2025, online)

On March 20, 2025, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine took part in the presentation of the Jean Monnet module “EU System of the Audit and Financial Control: Experience for Ukraine” (EUAudit4UA), implemented by the University of Customs and Finance with the support of the EU’s Erasmus+ Programme (Jean Monnet Module 2024–2027). The online event brought together representatives of the university’s academic and administrative community, project coordinators, and interested participants from across Ukraine.

More than 100 participants joined the event.

The event presented the key components of the EUAudit4UA project, including its educational and research dimensions, and outlined opportunities for students and academic staff to deepen their knowledge of European approaches to auditing and financial control. The structure of the academic module and the plans for the upcoming international scientific conference were introduced, with a focus on the project’s contribution to the transformation of higher education in Ukraine in the context of European integration.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, joined the event and delivered the opening speech. In her address, she emphasised the importance of Jean Monnet modules in fostering European values in education, strengthening academic integrity, and promoting transparency in financial management within higher education institutions.
