10 Ukrainian organisations will work on implementation of Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters projects under EUs Erasmus+ Programme
This summer ten organisations from Ukraine have become winners of Joint Master Action projects under European Union Erasmus+ Programme. 4 Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters projects involving 8 Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions and 2 business companies from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv and Ternopil were selected for funding. The results of the 2025 Calls for Proposals were communicated at the Erasmus+ Portal of European Commission here.
These projects aim to develop Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programs together by international partnerships of Higher Education Institutions from different countries of the world and, in appropriate cases, by other educational and/or non-educational partners with specific expertise and interest in the area of study.
In particular, the below Erasmus Mundus Joint Master projects’ consortium included the following Ukrainian organisations as a full partner and as associated partners:
- Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Full Partner of “InterCultural Leadership in Digital Era International Master”
- West Ukrainian National University, Associate partner of “InterCultural Leadership in Digital Era International Master”
- National University of Ukraine on Physical Education and Sport, Associate partner of “Choreomundus – Erasmus Mundus Master in Dance and Movement as Practical Knowledge and Heritage”
- Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Associate partner of “Interdisciplinary Mathematics”
- Lviv Polytechnic National University, Associate partner of “Interdisciplinary Mathematics”
- Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Associate partner of “Interdisciplinary Mathematics”
- National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Associate partner of “Master of Science in European Forestry”
- Ukrainian National Forestry University, Associate partner of “Master of Science in European Forestry”
- Favorito LLC, Associate partner of “InterCultural Leadership in Digital Era International Master”
- Sigma Software, Associate partner of “InterCultural Leadership in Digital Era International Master”
The Ukrainian organisations will be working in the international consortiums with 111 partners from 43 countries: Albania, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Rwanda, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tunisia, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, United States, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
From 2021, fifteen Ukrainian universities and 5 enterprises, as coordinators, full partners and associated partners are involved into implementation of 14 Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters and 3 Erasmus Mundus Design Measures projects. Since 2021, 166 Ukrainians were funded by the European Commission to study at the excellence joint master degree programmes with Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.
