Presentation at the Ukrainian Quality Assurance Forum (UQAF-2025) (17-18.09.2025, Lutsk)
On September 17–18, 2025, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine took part in the Ukrainian Quality Assurance Forum (UQAF-2025, Ukrainian Quality Assurance Forum), held in Lutsk at Lutsk National Technical University and organised by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance in partnership with the University.
UQAF-2025 served as the largest national communication platform for professional discussion on the development of the higher education quality assurance system in Ukraine, European trends in quality assurance, the implementation of institutional accreditation, next-generation standards, the role of student organisations and employers, and the strengthening of a culture of academic integrity. The Forum brought together up to 1,000 participants from nearly 200 Ukrainian and international educational institutions, public authorities, international partners, academic staff, students, and employers.
Within the Forum programme, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, contributed as a speaker to a panel discussion focused on current challenges and future perspectives of quality assurance in higher education in the context of Ukraine’s European integration. Her intervention highlighted the role of Erasmus+ instruments in supporting institutional change, strengthening quality culture, and enhancing the capacity of higher education institutions for sustainable development.
The Forum programme included panel discussions, presentations of successful institutional practices, training sessions and workshops on quality assurance, as well as a poster session showcasing study programmes accredited as “exemplary”. A key highlight of the Forum was the ceremonial awarding of institutional accreditation certificates to three Ukrainian universities, confirming further progress in the development of quality culture and the integration of Ukrainian higher education into the European Higher Education Area.
