Participation in the launch of the World Ukrainian Youth Headquarters at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine (16.04.2026, Kyiv)

On April 16, 2026, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine took part in the public launch of the World Ukrainian Youth Headquarters at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, held at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.

The event aimed to initiate a systemic dialogue on the role of Ukrainian youth in Ukraine and globally as a key driver of long-term national development, international presence, and recovery. The event brought together representatives of public authorities, the diplomatic corps, international organisations, and youth leaders.

During the event, the concept of a global network of Ukrainian youth organisations was presented, already uniting over 30 organisations across 20 countries, along with its potential as an infrastructure for international cooperation, human capital development, and strengthening Ukraine’s global engagement.

The programme featured presentations on the structure, approaches, and key areas of activity of the initiative, as well as an interactive “country exhibition” showcasing Ukrainian youth organisations abroad and opportunities for cooperation. The event concluded with a networking session aimed at fostering partnerships between Ukrainian and international stakeholders.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, contributed to the discussion on supporting youth through the instruments of the EU Erasmus+ Programme, particularly in the areas of international mobility, partnerships, and engagement of young people in educational and cross-sectoral initiatives. The importance of integrating the youth dimension into international cooperation and human capital development of Ukraine in the current context was emphasised.
