Conference “The Results of the Implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement” (18.02.2019, Kyiv)

18 02 2019On 18 February 2019, the EU Project Association4U together with the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine and the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration held the conference on the results, key successes and challenges of the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement during 2018 in Kyiv.

The key speakers of the Conference were: Ivanna KLYMPUSH-TSYNTSADZE, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Hugues MINGARELLI, Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Iryna GERASHCHENKO, Member of Parliament, First Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Mariya IONOVA, Member of Parliament, Deputy Head of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on European Integration, Olga STEFANISHYNA, Director General of the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Jurgen WELLNER, Team Leader of the Association4U Project and profile deputy ministers for the European integration.

Ivanna KLYMPUSH-TSYNTSADZE noted that 2018 was the first year of the full implementation of the Association Agreement, the hard work which will gradually bring about the concrete positive results for Ukrainians. Based on the fulfilment of tasks, planned for 2018. The Agreement was 52% completed. The tasks of the Agreement, which were not implemented in previous years, are being gradually fulfilled. As a consequence, the overall result of the implementation of the Agreement is significantly increasing.

About 200 participants – representatives of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, media, international organizations, funds, projects, among them and NEO – Ukraine Coordinator, attended the event.
