7 Ukrainian organisations will work on implementation of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master projects under EUs Erasmus+ Programme
This summer seven organisations from Ukraine have become winners of Joint Master Action projects under European Union Erasmus+ Programme. Out of a total of 34 selected proposals, 6 Erasmus Mundus Joint Master projects involving Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions and other organisations from Dnipro, Kyiv, Ternopil and Sumy were selected for funding.
These projects aim to develop of Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programs by international partnerships of Higher Education Institutions from different countries of the world and, in appropriate cases, by other educational and/or non-educational partners with specific expertise and interest in the area of study.
In particular, the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master projects’ consortium included 5 Higher Education Institutions and 2 business companies from Ukraine as partner and associate partners:
- National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Partner of “Mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Data Science for Industrial and Societal Challenges“;
- National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Associate partner of “Leading International Vaccinology Education for Innovation“;
- Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, Associate partner of EMJM Environmental Contamination and Toxicology + ONE HEALTH“;
- Sumy State University, Associate partner of “Research and Innovation in Higher Education“;
- Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Associate partner of “Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s programme in Surface, Electro, Radiation, and Photo-chemistry“;
- Private Joint Stock Company “VF Ukraine”, Associate partner of “Mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Data Science for Industrial and Societal Challenges”;
- FOREIGN COMPANY EOS UKRAINE, Associate partner of “Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Cutting-Edge Technologies for Sustainable Agriculture”.
The Ukrainian organisations will be working in the international consortiums with the following countries: Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, United Kingdom, United States, Venezuela, and Vietnam.
From 2021, eleven Ukrainian universities as coordinators, full partners and associated partners are involved into implementation of 9 Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters and 3 Erasmus Mundus Design Measures projects. Since 2021, 138 Ukrainians were funded by the European Commission to study at the excellence joint master degree programmes by Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.
