InfoDay of Erasmus+ for representatives of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (29.05.2025, Kharkiv)

On May 29, 2025, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine held an Erasmus+ Programme InfoDay for representatives of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The event was conducted in a blended format upon the initiative of the university to enhance the academic community’s participation in Erasmus+ calls and support strategic planning of international cooperation in education.

The event brought together more than 50 participants both online and offline.

The InfoDay provided a comprehensive overview of the Erasmus+ Programme architecture and opportunities for institutional capacity building, academic mobility, cross-sectoral cooperation, innovative teaching, participation in European University Alliances, Jean Monnet actions, and more. Special attention was given to the Programme’s current priorities – digital and green transitions, inclusion, civil society engagement, sustainable development – as well as the specific conditions of Ukraine’s participation during martial law.

The session was delivered by Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine. In her presentations, she emphasised the Erasmus+ Programme’s role as a strategic tool for Ukraine’s European integration, the importance of developing and implementing projects aimed at sustainable institutional development and qualitative transformation in education, and shared practical recommendations for effective participation in Programme calls.
