Infoday of the EU Erasmus+ Programme youth opportunities for the UYF and NYCU teams (02.06.2025, Kyiv)
On 2 June 2025, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine team held an Information Day on EU Erasmus+ Programme opportunities in the field of youth for the teams of the Ukrainian Youth Foundation and the National Youth Council of Ukraine. The Information Day aimed to bring together these two key organisations of Ukraine’s youth sector on a single platform to consolidate efforts in youth work and the implementation of joint Erasmus+ projects.
The event was attended by 10 participants from the Ukrainian Youth Foundation and the National Youth Council of Ukraine, including leadership and staff from international departments.
During the Information Day, Kateryna ZHDANOVA, Senior Manager of the NEO in Ukraine, held presentation on Erasmus+ opportunities for active youth and youth organisations. The speaker provided an overview of the EU Erasmus+ Programme, its key sectors, strands, and priorities, with a specific focus on new calls for Capacity Building in the field of Youth and Sport.
The presentation included clear recommendations on registering organisational profiles on key Programme portals, searching for open calls, specific requirements for filling out application forms, partnership criteria, preparing supporting documentation, and expected outcomes. Additionally, the speaker highlighted existing cooperation experiences between Ukrainian and European partners to encourage the development of new consortia, knowledge sharing, and future synergies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants engaged in a discussion, shared success stories and experiences, and received answers to their questions aimed at boosting joint participation in upcoming Erasmus+ youth calls.
