Information day of the EU Erasmus+ Programme for vocational education institutions (22.08.2024, Uman)

On 22 August 2024, the Information Day of the EU Erasmus+ Programme for vocational education institutions took place in Uman. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in cooperation with the Department of Education and Science of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine and the Uman Humanitarian and Pedagogical College named after T.G. Shevchenko.

About 20 representatives of Uman and Cherkasy region VETIs  participated in the event.

Veronika TKACHENKO, Manager of National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, presented opportunities in the field of vocational education and training, focusing on mobility opportunities and cooperation projects. Speaker emphasized the key features and objectives of the actions, requirements for partnerships, key activities, potential cooperation with other educational institutions and inter-project synergies. 

Particular attention is paid to the CBVET action of the EU Erasmus+ Programme: application requirements and key project selection criteria are discussed; the basics of preparing project applications (goal, objectives, expected results and strategies to increase the chances of success: partnership, innovation, quality, impact and sustainability of the project).
