Infosession for students of Uzhhorod National University on Erasmus+ mobility and youth opportunities (16.04.2024, Uzhgorod)

On 16 April 2024, as part of the high-level meeting between representatives of the academic communities of Austria and Ukraine, the team of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine conducted an Infosession for students of Uzhhorod National University. The presentation aimed to provide detailed insights into mobility opportunities and youth projects within the EU Erasmus+ Programme.

The event gathered around 20 students of Uzhhorod National University.

During the event, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, delivered a presentation on Erasmus+ opportunities for active youth. The speaker highlighted individual opportunities for students and staff of educational institutions, as well as for young people and youth workers. She also focused on Programme updates tailored to support Ukrainians during the war. In addition, supplementary educational opportunities provided by various EU countries to support active youth from Ukraine were introduced.

The session included clear recommendations on searching for opportunities, preparing application packages, and understanding the expected outcomes of exchanges for study, teaching, and training, as well as participation in Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programmes. Following the presentation, the speaker elaborated on youth exchanges, opportunities for youth workers, and participation in volunteering projects as additional Erasmus+ opportunities.

At the end of the event, participants engaged with the speakers, shared success stories and experiences, and received answers to their questions.
