Infosession of the Erasmus+ Programme within the framework of the youth forum “Ukraine & EU: Youth Creating the Future” (30.05.2025, Kharkiv)

On 30 May 2025, the Youth Forum dedicated to Europe Day “Ukraine&EU: Youth Creating the Future” took place in Kharkiv. The event was organised by the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration and gathered over 80 participants, including student representatives from 21 higher education institutions across Kharkiv region, youth councils, and community youth initiatives.

As part of the panel discussions, an Infosession of the Erasmus+ Programme was delivered by Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine. The session presented opportunities under the EU’s Erasmus+ Programme in the fields of youth and higher education, including individual mobility, youth participation, the European Solidarity Corps, study visits, and cooperation projects.

Special emphasis was placed on the development of youth leadership, soft skills, active citizenship, and Ukrainian youth participation in European initiatives during wartime.

The forum served as a platform for constructive dialogue between youth, authorities, experts, and employers on urgent needs, prospects, and challenges related to youth policy, inclusive education, mental health, safe learning environments, and youth entrepreneurship support.
