International online conference “The Politics of Memory: European Experience for Ukraine” (17-18.11.2023, online)
On November 17-18, 2023, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine team joined the international online conference “The Politics of Memory: European Experience for Ukraine”. The event was organised by Zaporizhzhia National University.
The online event was attended by more than 100 participants from different regions of Ukraine, as well as from Poland, Germany, and Austria, including historians, political scientists, journalists, museum workers, teachers of secondary schools, and students.
The conference was the final stage of the implementation of the Jean Monnet Module “The Politics of Memory: European Experience for Ukraine” at the University of Kyiv under the Erasmus+ programme.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Project Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, noted the efforts of the Zaporizhzhia National University team, which, despite the war, achieved significant project results. The speaker also emphasised on the main priorities during the project implementation with a focus on overcoming the challenges and consequences of war; importance of modern and innovative content, methodologies, resources and results, as well as inclusiveness and the use of digital and green technologies.
