On 28 January 2025, the kick-off meeting of the AMUSE project within the framework of Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE took place at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland. This event marked the first official gathering of participants in a three-year international project, supported by the European Union. The consortium, bringing together representatives from Ukraine, Estonia, Norway, the Netherlands, and Poland, aims to establish a solid foundation for the successful implementation of this ambitious initiative.

The meeting was opened with welcoming remarks from:

  • Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine;
  • representatives of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University;
  • the Vice-Rector of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

The event brought together around 40 representatives from preschool and higher education institutions, as well as civil society organisations. The hybrid format allowed all working group members of the consortium, including those unable to attend in person, to participate online.

During the intensive working sessions, the participants:

  • approved the project concept;
  • established supervisory committees to ensure quality implementation and reporting;
  • developed detailed plans for implementation, dissemination of results, and project sustainability;
  • agreed on the activity schedule and deadlines.

The AMUSE project will make a significant contribution to enhancing international cooperation, improving educational opportunities, and advancing the quality of learning and teaching across partner countries.
