Meeting with representatives of EVBB, Folk University and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (28-29.08.2024, online)

On 28-29 August 2024, NEO in Ukraine  representatives joined a meeting with representatives of the European Association of Vocational Training Institutions (EVBB), the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and FolkUniversity.

During the meeting, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the European Association of Vocational Training Institutions (EVBB) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The cooperation aims to promote the further development of vocational (vocational) education in Ukraine, improve its image, and integrate it into the European educational space.

One of the main focuses of the agreement is to integrate advanced European practices into the educational process, which will contribute to improving the quality of vocational education and its attractiveness among youth and adults.

According to the terms of the Memorandum, the selected Ukrainian VET institutions will automatically become members of EVBB, which will allow them to actively participate in European educational networks and projects. This will provide new opportunities for the development of partnerships, exchange of experience and knowledge with European colleagues.

The meeting also discussed further steps of cooperation and joint activities between the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, the European Association of Vocational Training Institutions (EVBB), the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and FolkUniversity.

The meeting ended with study visits to the Kyiv Vocational College with Enhanced Military and Physical Training and the Kyiv Vocational College of Civil Engineering.
