Meeting with Representatives of VET institutions on participation in Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Vocational Education and Training (CBVET) calls (12.02.2025, online)

On 12 February 2025, an online meeting was held with representatives of vocational education and training (VET) institutions to discuss their participation in the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the Field of Vocational Education and Training (CBVET) calls.

The event gathered 30 participants and was organised to support the preparation of high-quality project proposals and promote the engagement of EU partners.

The meeting featured representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine:

  • Iryna SHUMIK, Director General of the Directorate for Vocational Education at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, who emphasised the importance of Ukrainian educational institutions’ participation in Erasmus+ calls;
  • Zhanna TALANOVA, Deputy Coordinator and Veronika TKACHENKO, Project Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, who provided detailed information on CBVET application conditions, project proposal development, and key aspects of cooperation;
  • Tetiana BILETSKA, Deputy Director of the Reform Support Team at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, who explained the technical aspects of obtaining the PIF from the Ministry for selected projects and addressed participants’ questions.

Special attention was given to the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, which is ready to join selected initiatives as a project partner. Additionally, the 2025 capacity-building events were announced, aimed at strengthening the ability of Ukrainian education providers to prepare high-quality Erasmus+ applications and establish partnerships with EU institutions.

The meeting served as an important step in preparing Ukrainian educational institutions for successful participation in Erasmus+ calls, contributing to the development of vocational education and Ukraine’s international integration in teaching and learning.
