Meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sport of Ukraine (11.11.2024, Kyiv)

On November 11, 2024, the team of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine joined a meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine to discuss key aspects of Erasmus+ calls in the fields of youth and sports, as well as ways to support the Ministry in promoting opportunities and results.

The meeting was joined by Matviy Bidnyi, Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and Svitlana Shytikova, NEO Coordinator in Ukraine, with the participation of the Minister’s advisors.

During the meeting, Svitlana Shytikova presented the opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme for active youth, youth and sports organizations. The speaker presented the Programme, key spheres and actions, priorities, focusing on new calls for youth and sports capacity building. The speaker emphasized the basic requirements for project implementation in accordance with the rules of the Program and Ukrainian legislation, emphasizing the great support from the Ministry at the stage of projects’ state registration and promotion of the results achieved.

During the meeting participants also discussed the impact of the Programme on the youth and sports sector, national priorities, and potential cooperation between NEO in Ukraine and the Ministry for 2025.
