Official opening of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module “Common EU Policies: Coordination Strategies for Ukraine” (02.02.2022)
On 2 February 2022, Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project “Common EU Policies: Coordination Strategies for Ukraine” (EUCPASU) was officially launched at Ivan Franko Lviv National University. Due to the Covid restrictions event was in inline format.
The meeting was joined by the Сoordinator of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine Svitlana Shytikova, Vice-rector for international cooperation Serhiy Riznyk , Dean of International Relations Faculty, Ambassador of Ukraine Markiyan Malskyi, Dean of Financial Management and Business Faculty Andriy Stasyshyn and projct team members. The meeting joined about 15 participants and was moderated by Oksana Golovko-Gavrysheva, Head of the Jean Monet Center of Excellence “Western Ukrainian Research Center for European Studies”.
Svitlana Shytikova welcomed participants on new Jean Monet project and highlighted University’s activity in the preparation and implementation of Erasmus+ projects.
Serhiy Riznyk emphasized the importance of Erasmus+ projects for capacity building of University and Jean Monet particularly for the internationalisation strategy of Lviv University.
Project coordinator Oksana Kraevska shared her experience of preparing the project proposal, outlined its relevance and importance for the educational community of the University and Ukraine on the path of its European integration in the context of the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
