Open Lecture “Eyes Wide Open: learning to see possible inclusive worlds” (16.03.2026, online)

On 16 March 2026, the online public lecture “Eyes Wide Open: learning to see possible inclusive worlds” will take place, launching the NEOLAiA FA course on inclusion. The event is organised within the UNIC Erasmus+ European University Alliance. The course is coordinated by the University of Nicosia and co-organised by the University of Salerno and the University of Tours. The target audience includes academics, researchers, higher education staff, and all stakeholders interested in inclusion and intercultural dialogue.

During the lecture, the project team will introduce the concept of the course and explore what it means to seek inclusive worlds and keep “eyes wide open” when engaging with diversity. The session will emphasise the importance of developing intercultural competences, broadening perspectives, and meaningfully engaging with diversity and ambiguity. The lecture will be hosted on UNIC’s online learning platform ENGAGELI.
