Participation in III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Personality, University, Society: Interaction in the Context of Changes” (12.04.2024, Kyiv)

On April 12, 2024, the team of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine joined the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Personality, University, Society: Interaction in the Context of Change”, which took place within the framework of the EU project “Reinventing displaced universities: enhancing competitiveness, serving communities” (REDU). The conference was initiated by a consortium of project partners consisting of: The Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Mariupol State University, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, and the British Council in Ukraine.

The event was attended by about 50 participants from different organizations of Ukraine, including the consortium of project partners. The purpose of the Conference was to discuss the problems and challenges that are relevant for Ukrainian universities in the new realities caused by aggression and the tasks of post-war recovery of the country.

During the Conference, the participants discussed the results of the project REDU in key areas:

  • digitalization of the university
  • development of English language competence of the staff
  • student self-government
  • university strategy and development
  • university and community
  • financial management of international projects and university development

The event was also attended by Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator and Zhanna TALANOVA, Analytical Manager and HERE team Coordinator. The speakers actively joined the discussions and working groups on project and financial management of grants and digital university development, providing advice and recommendations on successful cases based on the results of EUs Erasmus+ projects involving Ukrainian organizations.
