Participation in the All-Ukrainian Forum for Youth Councils (03.09.2021, Kharkiv)

On 3-5 September 2021, the All-Ukrainian Forum of Youth Councils took place in Kharkiv. The event was organized by the Ukrainian Association of Youth Councils together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Kharkiv City Council, in partnership with the Youth Platform, with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine.

About 80 participants from 23 regions of Ukraine joined the event.

During the Forum the issues of place of youth councils in Ukraine and their interaction with public authorities, the procedures for formation and activity of the National Youth Council, recommendations on the principles of youth counsellors, amendments to the standard regulations on Youth Advisory Bodies were discussed.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator, joined the event and presented the new EUs Erasmus+ Programme for 2021-2027, its opportunities for Ukrainian organizations in the field of education, training, youth and sport, and provided clear recommendations for successful participation. Speaker focused on the existing results and projects of the previous Erasmus+ from 2014-2020 to build synergies for new quality partnerships with experienced Ukrainian partners.
