Participation in the “Book Country” exhibition within the promotional campaign of the EU Delegation to Ukraine (28-29.09.2024, Kyiv)
On 26 September, a new all-Ukrainian communication campaign “Together We Learn & Grow. The EU and Ukraine creating a common European future” was launched. Amid the ongoing illegal Russian aggression against Ukraine, the European Union is demonstrating its solidarity and providing comprehensive support to enable continuous sustainable education and to provide the country with professionals at all levels. Priority areas include funding for the reconstruction of schools, restoring safe educational spaces, professional development for students, teachers and young scientists, and retraining for veterans and IDPs.
The campaign launch event was held on September 26-29, 2024, as part of the Book Country Festival in Kyiv, where the space “Learning and Growing Together” was open to visitors. The NEO team in Ukraine actively participated in the festival and conducted more than 200 consultations on the opportunities of the EU Erasmus+ Program. On September 28-29, 2024, within the framework of the Erasmus+ stand, Zhanna TALANOVA, Kateryna ZHDANOVA, Veronika TKACHENKO, Petro KRAINIK and Oleh KUSHCHENKO, with the support of Erasmus Student Network Ukraine and EMA Ukraine, held presentations of opportunities, in particular, joined the Lecture Hall and made presentations on the following topics:
- ‘How to get a scholarship for exchanges for study, full master’s degree, internship, youth exchanges and volunteering?’
- Opportunities for young Ukrainians and their success stories
- Experience of Cooperation of Ukrainian Universities with European and World Partners
- Opportunities for VET institutions and stories of the first winners
During the event, clear recommendations were provided on opportunities search, preparation of list of documents and expected results of exchanges for study, Erasmus Mundus master’s programs. After the presentation, the speaker presented exchange opportunities for youth and youth workers and participation in volunteer projects as additional Erasmus+ opportunities. After presentations participants communicated with speaker on life hacks and recommendations, shared success stories and experiences, and received comprehensive answers to their questions.
The venue will had themed tents – The Opportunity Space, where EU projects presented their programmes and achievements, and The Lecture Hall, where discussions, lectures, consultations, interactive activities and musical performances of all kinds were held.
