Participation in the Information Dissemination Event “Research and Innovation as a Driver of Ukraine’s Integration into the Global Research Area” (12.11.2025, Kyiv)

On November 12, 2025, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine took part in the information dissemination event “Research and Innovation as a Driver of Ukraine’s Integration into the Global Research Area”, held in Kyiv and dedicated to the World Science Day for Peace and Development.

The event gathered more than 250 participants onsite and online, including representatives of the Government of Ukraine, the European Union, the research and academic community, international organisations, and expert networks.

The National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine was represented by Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine. Her participation contributed to professional discussions on Ukraine’s integration into the European and global research areas and on aligning opportunities offered by EU programmes in the fields of research, innovation, and higher education.

The programme of the event focused on the synergy of European support instruments for research and innovation, including opportunities under the European Innovation Council, the European Research Council, and the EU Framework Programme “Horizon Europe”. Participants were also presented with successful cases of Ukrainian researchers’ participation in national and international funding schemes. A separate part of the event was dedicated to recognising Ukrainian scientists for their contribution to the development of the grant funding system and international scientific and technological cooperation.
