Participation in the official opening of the Center for European Studies at the National University “Chernihiv Collegium” (14.09.2021, Chernihiv)

On 14 September 2021 the National University “Chernihiv Collegium” officially opened the Center for European Studies within the implementation of the Erasmus+ Jean Monner project «CULTURAL DIMENSION OF EUROPE» (611810-EPP-1-2019-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR). The purpose of the Center is to unite the efforts of experts in the field of European History, European Integration, European values and cultural heritage promotion.

In the welcome speech Svitlana STRILETS, Vice-Rector of the National University “Chernihiv Collegium”, Volodymyr DYATLOV, Professor of the National University “Chernihiv Collegium”, Kateryna LYTVYN, Head of the Department of Tourism of the Chernihiv City Council, and Oleksandr KOVALENKO, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of History stressed high importance and future impact of the Centre for university students, staff, and society as well.

Petro KRAINIK, Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, provided details on updated opportunities within Jean Monnet Action of new Erasmus+ Programme for 2021-2027. Iryna SIKORSKA, Head of International Relations Office, Donetsk State University of Management (Mariupol), Head of the Association of the European Integration Researchers presented cases of such EU Centres in Ukraine, its missions, activities, and perspectives in Ukraine.
