Participation in the V International Forum “Human Capital: Value. Quality. Development” (12.12.2024, online)
On 12 December 2024, the team of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine participated in the V International Forum “Human Capital: Value. Quality. Development”, organised by the National Agency for Qualifications.
The forum aimed to promote the development of the national economy, strengthen human capital, and integrate Ukraine into the European qualifications framework. Furthermore, it sought to identify strategic directions for the development of the National Qualifications System and align the labour market with current knowledge and skills.
The programme covered five key topics:
- “Eurointegration of the Qualifications System”;
- “Qualifications Centres: Opportunities and Prospects”;
- “Regulated Professions: Advantages, Challenges, and Strategies for Implementation”;
- “The Awarding of Professional Qualifications by Higher Education Institutions”;
- “The Development of the Qualifications System”.
This year, for the first time, qualification centres participated in the forum, presenting video materials on assessment processes and the validation of practical skills. Special attention was given to the recognition of qualifications obtained through non-formal or informal education and qualifications acquired abroad. For example, colleagues from the Ukrainian Qualifications Centre for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operators shared their experience in conducting the assessment and validation of qualifications and practical skills across five military-related specialisations.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, joined the forum to gain valuable professional experience, acquire new knowledge, and familiarise herself with innovative practices that could be implemented within the activities of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine. The forum provided a unique platform for exchanging experiences, learning about mechanisms for recognising qualifications, and strategic planning in the field of human capital development.
