Participation of Mychailo WYNNYCKYJ in the discussion on interdisciplinary programmes within the Erasmus+ LibArt_UA project (03.07.2025, Kyiv)

On July 3, 2025, Mychailo WYNNYCKYJ, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Member of the Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) team, took part in an expert discussion at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” on the introduction of interdisciplinary bachelor’s programmes, within the Erasmus+ LibArt_UA project.

Participants explored the potential of broad-entry programmes that allow students to enrol in a general field of study and choose a specific major in their second year. The discussion also addressed the implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Individual Educational Trajectories”, adopted in 2024, and the gradual transformation it requires in standards, accreditation, academic culture, and teacher training. The first Liberal Arts-inspired programmes are expected to be launched in September 2026.
