Participation within TCA training “Health E+Motions” (15-18.10.2024, Warsaw)
On October 15-18, 2024, in Warsaw, Poland, the NEO team in Ukraine took part in the international seminar on mental health in short-term and long-term international mobility projects “Health E+Motions”, organized by the National Erasmus+ Agency of Poland.
The Health E+motions seminar brought together about 90 participants from 15 European countries, new and experienced coordinators, teachers and mentors of short-term and long-term international mobility projects in different spheres of the Erasmus+ program, as well as volunteer projects of the European Solidarity Corps, to share experiences and discuss mental health issues, gain new knowledge, skills and innovative solutions needed to address these challenges, learn about tools and best practices related to mental health.
The Health E+motions Seminar is an opportunity for organisations and project leaders from various sectors to come together and collaborate on the topic of mental health in mobility learning. Participants engaged in group discussions, workshops, and expert talks to share knowledge and best practices for promoting well-being.
The seminar also offered networking opportunities for potential partnership-building collaborations. Overall, the event aimed to empower attendees to take positive steps toward improving mental health practices within mobility projects in their respective fields.
The program prioritized the mental health of beneficaries involved in long and short-term mobilities across all sectors of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs. It also provided participants with a space to develop their well-being practice through experiential activities.
Health E+motions Seminar brought together newcomers and experienced coordinators, teachers, and mentors of short and long-term international mobilities in various sectors of Erasmus+ Programme as well as European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Projects to:
- Share and discuss their experiences regarding mental health-related challenges
- Become inspired with new knowledge and skills needed to respond to these challenges
- Share mental health-related tools and best practices
- Explore self-care techniques
- Network on potential future projects
Kateryna Zhdanova joined the seminar on behalf of the NEO team in Ukraine, taking an active part in all the seminar activities and presenting the experience of Ukrainian youth and representatives of organizations in the fields of education, youth and sports during martial law in terms of psychological health.
The different features of the Health E+motions Seminar allowed the participants – through innovative approaches and practices – to explore the mental health mobility theme through various perspectives. Involving in-depth group dialogue on mental health-related challenges that occur in both short and long-term international mobility projects organised in the frame of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programme.
An inspirational expert shared their perspectives on the pertinent topics related to the seminar. Also, participants had a short study visit to a sectorial organisation or institution to observe and learn from mental health best practices. The seminar encouraged cross-partnership on best practices and connecting with other organisations on future project opportunities.
During the event, all participants had opportunity to join Tools Market aimed to share a broader range of tools, publications, and ideas brought by the participants – a showcase of sharing established best practice methods between the participant organisations.
