Presentation within the meeting of the “German-Ukrainian Cores of Excellence” project (08.02.2022, online)

On 8 February 2022, NEO – Ukraine team joined the the kick-off meeting of the “German-Ukrainian Cores of Excellence” project. During the event, 12 projects on the creation of German-Ukrainian Centers of Advanced Science in Ukraine were presented under the initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Scientific Research (BMBF), the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the German Embassy in Kyiv.

More than 100 participants joined the online meeting: representatives of the BMBF, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the German Embassy in Kyiv, project participants, national and European scientific organizations, authorities and other institutions from Germany, Ukraine and Europe.

Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine, Svitlana Shytikova, joined the event during the discussion session dedicated to the framework for the implementation of the Centers of Advanced Science as international technical assistance projects together with Hryhoriy Mozolevych and Serhiy Shkabko, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine,  Rostislav Tomenchuk, Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Andriy Lotarev, KROK University, and Artem Zinov, “German Society for International Cooperation in Ukraine”. In additiona, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator highlighted the opportunities for Ukrainian organizations within the Erasmus+ Programme, a overview of the 2022 calls, as well as a reviewed of state registration procedures of international technical assistance projects.
