Sectoral Workshop under the Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform for Ukraine “Social infrastructure and Services” (10.11.2023, online)

On November 10, 2023, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine team joined the Sectoral Workshop under the Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform for Ukraine “Social infrastructure and Services”.

About 180 participants participated the workshop, representing the Ministry for Restoration, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Social Policy, Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, representatives of international partners.

The objectives of the workshop was to facilitate in-depth sector-level discussion and coordination among Ukraine, G7 donors, and IFIs.

The Government of Ukraine, the World Bank, the UN, and the European Commission are preparing a Ukraine Recovery and Reconstruction Needs Assessment 2024 and working on priorities for reform support. The Assessment 2023 is available here.

A series of workshops was jointly initiated to promote synergy and interaction between donor organisations to develop priorities for project funding.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, joined the workshop and drew the participants’ attention to the priorities of the EU Erasmus+ Programme calls. Donor organisations were informed about new calls in the field of education, youth and sports, key priorities within open actions for Ukraine, technical requirements, details on partner search, as well existing experience and impact.
