Seminar-Training for Erasmus+ 2025 call projects’ teams awarded in 2025 in VET (CBVET, KA220): implementation specifics, synergies and cooperation with other projects and initiatives under martial law in Ukraine (17.10.2025, online)

On 17 October 2025, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, organised an Seminar-Training for Erasmus+ 2025 call projects’ teams awarded in 2025 in VET (CBVET, KA220): implementation specifics, synergies and cooperation with other projects and initiatives under martial law in Ukraine.
The events within #ErasmusDays2025 are organised by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine jointly with and with the support of co-organisers (more details are available in the description of the #ErasmusDays2025 concept).

Around 40 participants took part in the event, including project teams of CBVET and KA220 — winners of the 2025 Call (CBVET, KA220) in the field of vocational and professional pre-higher education in Ukraine.

Participants were welcomed by Iryna SHUMIK, Director General of the Directorate of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Adrien OLSZAK-OLSZEWSKI, Policy Officer for Ukraine, DG EAC – The Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, European Commission, and Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, PhD in Pedagogy, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine. In their remarks, the speakers emphasised the importance of the EU Erasmus+ Programme in supporting the development of vocational education, strengthening international cooperation, and advancing reforms under martial law.

The first thematic block of the seminar focused on the specific features of implementing cooperation and capacity-building projects in the field of vocational education under martial law.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA presented the key aspects of managing CBVET and KA220 projects, including the roles of project partners, communication with the project coordinator and the EACEA project officer, work within the project management system related to administration and reporting, grant financial management, preparation of interim and final reports, as well as regulatory documents applicable under martial law.

Veronika IVANOVA, PhD in Pedagogy, Manager at the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, focused on the specifics of implementing CBVET projects, in particular the requirements and procedures for state registration of projects, rules for visual identity and dissemination of information about projects and their results, quality assurance of project implementation and outcomes, as well as international and national reporting requirements.

The second thematic block of the event was dedicated to the exchange of experience in implementing CBVET and KA220 projects and the presentation of achieved results. Within this block, practical project implementation cases were presented:

  • “Boosting Culinary Education and Training” (No. 2023-1-LV01-KA220-VET-000161266) — presented by Veroniia MARTYNIUK;
  • “Future-oriented Vocational Training for the Construction Sector in Ukraine in Partnership for Excellence”
    (No. 101183275 — VETpartEx — ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CB-VET) — presented by Rodion KOLYSHKO and Nina POLIVODA.

During the event, Q&A sessions, discussions of practical aspects of project implementation, and summarising of outcomes took place.

The seminar-training contributed to enhancing the knowledge and practical skills of project teams, planning project impact and ensuring the sustainability of results, as well as fostering synergy and interaction between projects of the EU Erasmus+ Programme in the field of vocational education in Ukraine under martial law.
