The 2nd International Online School within Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project “Effective eco-management for the European future of Ukraine” (03.03.23, online / Kyiv)
On 3 March, 2023, in Kyiv, the II International Online School of Jean Monnet “Effective eco-management for the European future of Ukraine” was held in an online format. The event was held by the National University of Food Technologies within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ programme Jean Monnet projects “EU Renewable Energy Strategy as a Roadmap for Ukraine”, “European Union policies and best practices in academic project management” and “Jean Monnet EU Centre for the Circular and Green Economy”.
More than 180 participants from almost all parts of Ukraine joined the work of the School – students of graduation classes, teachers of environmental disciplines, graduates of various universities, scientists, and representatives of the public society.
In her welcoming speech, Svitlana Shytikova, PhD, coordinator of the National Erasmus+ office – Ukraine, focused the participants’ attention on the importance of the EU Erasmus+ Programme for Ukraine, opportunities for school education, dissemination of European values and ensuring the quality of the results of international projects.
Rector of the University, Professor Oleksandr Shevchenko, Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Environmental Control Nataliya Gregirchak and Head of the Department of Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Ihor Yakymenko also addressed the participants of the School with welcome words.
