The All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Eurointegration Dimension of Higher Education in Ukraine: Current Practices and Perspectives” (19.05.2023, online)

On 19 May 2023, as part of the XIV International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions,” the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Eurointegration Dimension of Higher Education in Ukraine: Current Practices and Perspectives” took place online. The event was organized and conducted by the Department of Scientific and Methodological Support for Integration into the European Education Area of the State Scientific Institution “Institute for Content Modernization of Education” and gathered over 50 participants, representatives of higher education institutions from all over Ukraine, which indicates the exceptional relevance of the conference topic.

Oksana MELNYK, Head of the Department of Scientific and Methodological Support for Integration into the European Education Area of the State Scientific Institution “Institute for Content Modernization of Education” was moderator of the event.

Yuriy SAFONOV, Deputy Director for Scientific and Methodological Work of the Institute for Content Modernization of Education, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance and necessity of globalization processes in all spheres of life, particularly in higher education.

Veronika TKACHENKO, Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, presented the opportunities for Ukrainian higher education institutions within the EU Erasmus+ Programme, the specificities of calls and innovations for Ukrainian organizations. The speaker emphasized the expansion of opportunities for higher education, which, in turn, opens up new horizons for international cooperation and the establishment of fruitful contacts and joint projects. Special attention was devoted to ICM projects in higher education, Erasmus Mundus actions, CBHE, Cooperation Partnerships, Alliances for Innovations, Jean Monnet and other actions.
