The United Kingdom to Join Erasmus+ from 2027

As of 1 January 2027, the United Kingdom will join the Erasmus+ Programme, opening new mobility opportunities for students, staff, youth, and sports professionals from both the EU and the UK.

The UK will participate in the full range of Erasmus+ opportunities on the same footing as the 27 EU Member States and other countries already associated with the Programme. This will also enable the development of new partnerships between organisations across the Channel.
