Training “How to Increase Participation in Erasmus+ Calls” for Representatives of Bogomolets National Medical University (20.10.2025, Kyiv)
On 20 October 2025, the team of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine conducted an expert training on “How to Increase Participation in Erasmus+ Calls” for representatives of Bogomolets National Medical University, aimed at enhancing the university’s international grant activities.
The event brought together over 60 participants, including academic staff and administrative professionals, and served as a platform for professional dialogue on expanding the university’s involvement in international calls under the EU’s Erasmus+ Programme.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, delivered a welcome address and presented the Erasmus+ Programme. During her presentation, the speaker outlined the structure and key priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme for 2021–2027, provided practical recommendations on preparing high-quality proposals and building strong partnerships, and highlighted opportunities for Ukrainian universities under the 2026 calls.
Special attention was given by Svitlana SHYTIKOVA to the Programme’s financial flexibility during martial law, support for internally displaced education institutions, and the EU’s priority to strengthen and rebuild Ukraine’s education system.
The training was organised in cooperation with the university’s International Relations Department and the Centre for International Academic Mobility and Grant Projects, which provides systemic support to university staff and departments in preparing and implementing international projects.
The university is consistently developing its international activities and institutional capacity to participate in European education and research programmes, including Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, EU4Health, World Bank, DAAD, eTwinning and others.
The National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine expresses gratitude to the university administration, partners and all participants for their fruitful cooperation and shared efforts towards Ukraine’s integration into the European Research Area.
