Training within the framework of THEA Ukraine X programme at Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University (28-29.05.2024, online/offline)
As part of the international THEA Ukraine X Programme, in which Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University participates, an intensive two-day Project_Hub training was held to develop the project thinking skills of university academic staff in the drafting of Jean Monnet Modules projects.
The training was organised jointly with Sumy State University, with the participation of Vitalii Kolesnyk, PhD in Engineering, Sumy State University, THEA Ukraine X trainer, and with the support of the University of Applied Sciences in Münster (Germany).
During the event, presentations were made by: Vitalii KOLESNYK, PhD in Engineering, Sumy State University, THEA Ukraine X trainer; Olena TUPAKHINA, PhD in Philology, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, International and Project Activities, Zaporizhzhia National University; Vadym MENDOHRALO, Deputy Mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council; Yuliia FRANCHUK, representative of the NGO “STC Podilskyi Bioregion”, member of the Youth Council under the Mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi.
The speakers focused on such topical issues as: structural levels of organisation of the university’s grant activities, work on the Jean Monnet Modules grant application of the EU Erasmus+ Programme, technical steps for filling out and submitting a Jean Monnet Modules project application, and cooperation with stakeholders.
Petro KRAINIK, Project Manager of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine for Jean Monnet, spoke on the topic “Jean Monnet 2024: Key Aspects”, where he drew attention to the important technical steps of filling out and submitting a project application, requirements, evaluation criteria and grant application for Jean Monnet Modules.
Number of participants who completed the Project_Hub training program 16 academic staff, 5 speakers and invited guests.
During the event, the training participants developed their own grant ideas, developed sketches of their projects in the field of the Jean Monnet Module of the EU Erasmus+ Programme and presented their own pitches in a creative way, learned to identify and collaborate with stakeholders for their projects, and laid the foundation for further planning of the project application work package. A course was developed for the participants on the MOODLE university platform, which contains all the useful and necessary materials for working on a grant application.
The training was provided by: trainer Tetiana STORCHOVA, Head of the Office for International Cooperation of the K-PNU, assistant trainers Yelyzaveta NETECHA, leading specialist of the Office for International Cooperation (project activities) of the K-PNU, Tetiana LAZARENKO, Head of the Training Laboratory of the Department of Business Economics of the K-PNU.
