Webinar-Info Session “Erasmus+ Programme: Inclusion as a Priority and a Value” for Vice-Rectors for International Cooperation of Ukrainian Universities (26.06.2025, online)

On June 26, 2025, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine conducted an online webinar-info session titled “Erasmus+ Programme: Inclusion as a Priority and a Value”, focusing on the role of inclusion within the implementation of the EU Erasmus+ Programme in the field of higher education.

The event brought together 34 online participants, including Vice-Rectors for International Relations, international project coordinators, representatives of international cooperation departments, and participants of the pilot project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the establishment of student support centres.

During the webinar, participants received up-to-date information on the opportunities for Ukrainian higher education institutions to participate in Erasmus+ calls with a focus on inclusion, as well as practical guidance on the preparation and submission of project proposals tailored to institutional needs and strategic development priorities.

The event featured Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, and Zhanna TALANOVA, Deputy Coordinator and Analytical Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, Coordinator of the Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE team). They emphasised the importance of integrating the values of inclusion across all stages of project implementation and presented European Commission recommendations to ensure equal access to EU-funded initiatives.

Oksana VOLKOVA, State Expert at the Directorate of Preschool and Inclusive Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, also joined the discussion. She highlighted the importance of cross-sectoral cooperation for implementing inclusive approaches in higher education, particularly within international project frameworks.
