X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Inclusive Development of the National Economy: Global Trends, Opportunities of Ukraine and the Role of the Agro-Food Sector, Experience and Cooperation with the EU” within the framework of the Erasmus+ project (28-29.04.2026, online)

On April 28-29, 2026, the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Inclusive Development of the National Economy: Global Trends, Opportunities of Ukraine and the Role of the Agro-Food Sector, Experience and Cooperation with the EU” was held at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine by the Department of Production and Investment Management within the framework of the project of the European Union Erasmus+ Program, Jean Monnet module “Practices of Social and Economic Inclusion in the EU”.

The international conference was organized jointly with WSHIU Academy of Applied Sciences (Poland), Purdue University (United States), Fater Academy of India (India), University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), RMIT University (Australia), as well as the NGO «International Foundation of Scientists and Educators». The event was attended by more than 120 researchers, teachers, bachelors, masters, postgraduates, doctoral students, representatives of NGO’s and other institutions from various cities of Ukraine, including Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Lutsk, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Chernivtsi.

During the event, participants were greeted by Petro KRAINIK, project manager at the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine and program coordinator for the Jean Monnet programs, who spoke about the issue of inclusion as one of the key priorities of the EU Erasmus+ Program, about the specifics of implementing project activities under martial law conditions in Ukraine, about communication with stakeholders and ensuring synergy and inter-project cooperation; Oksana TONKHA, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor; Paulina KOLISNICHENKO, Vice Rector for International Cooperation, WSHIU Academy of Applied Sciences, Doktor of Economic Sciences (Poznan, Poland); Valery BONDARENKO, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Management at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor and Iryna HEIETS, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia). Presentations were given by Lidiia SHYNKARUK, project coordinator, Doctor of Economics, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and professor in the Department of Production and Investment Management; Marina DIELINI, Ph.D. in Economics, Professor, Professor in the Department of Production and Investment Management; Hana SARKINOVIC-KÖSE, Assistant Professor at Faculty of Law (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Lyudmila SHEPELEVA, Clinical Psychologist at Helping Hand Company, Inc. (USA); Artem OBERNYAK, Director of the Rehabilitation Center at Feofaniya Clinical Hospital; Liliia MIROSHNICHENKO, career counselor, recruiter, HR Power Group; Yaroslava SOROKOPUD, Manager of the Rural Women’s Entrepreneurship Support Program, “Rural Women’s Business Network” Public Association. Their presentations also served to further develop the conference’s theme: Taras SUS, Ph.D. in Economics, Professor; Dmytro KLYNOVYI, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor; Svitlana KUSHNIR, Ph.D. in Economics, Professor; Olga VDOVICHENA, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor. The speakers focused on such pressing issues as: lessons in economic and social inclusion for Ukraine, the rehabilitation of veterans following complex surgeries and amputations, and economic engineering for sustainable socioeconomic development.
