During the work of the school, aspects of the problems of climate change and sustainable development were considered, namely the current trends of decarbonization and eco-modernization of the energy industry of Ukraine and the world. After all, every year the changes in the Earth’s climate become more and more noticeable, and today these issues are classified as priority areas of international policy.

Ukraine joins the efforts of the EU regarding this initiative through the implementation of the principles of sustainable development, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, increased use of alternative energy sources, attempts to preserve natural ecosystems, etc. However, the real challenge for Ukraine is the war, therefore separate blocks in the school program included reports on the impact of military actions on the natural complexes of Ukraine, issues of war and water security, innovative experience in the development of green chemistry was presented.

The second day of the School is aimed at the target audience of schoolchildren, junior students, teachers, etc.

We hope that the School will become a historic event in terms of the development of scientific and practical cooperation between the ecological community!
