Ukraine – EU: Intercultural Communication in Education
Short description:
The project’s goals are: equip students and young professionals with knowledge of European Union subjects relevant for their academic and professional lives and enhance their civic skills; mainstream and diversify EU-related subjects throughout the curricula proposed by higher education institutions to their students.
The project’s objectives are: introducing of the course “Intercultural Communication Studies” into the curriculum of future primary school teachers’ training at SHEI DSPU for preparing today’s Ukrainian youth for diplomatic interaction, reaching mutual understanding, avoiding barriers in communication; promoting the integration of young people into the world and European youth community; enhancing a tendency towards a high quality of life – factors that can develop positive attitude to Ukraine’s EU integration; influencing the development of the high patriotism among the young generation representatives and developing their active citizenship.
